With rallies and boycotts of schools and businesses across the country yesterday, illegal immigrants and their supporters presented a case to the nation that they are vital to the US economy and should not be subject to deportation.
The Nation's Jon Wiener was at the march in Los Angeles, where hundreds of thousands of people demanding rights for undocumented immigrants marched down Wilshire Boulevard.
