Blair Fights for His Career
Tony Blair's Labour Party today stumbles into the week that could decide the fate of Blair's premiership. It is a party in crisis, with senior ministers fighting for their political lives and polls showing voters increasingly sick of the government. As James Kirkup, political editor of Scotsman.com writes:"Party insiders are more and more convinced that the English local government elections in four days on Thursday will be a disaster for Labour. The polls are all but certain to trigger a new crisis for Mr Blair, intensifying calls within the party for the Prime Minister to name the date of his departure from Downing Street."

It seems like Blair's sinking popularity is in tandem with that of his buddy Bush. Birds of a feather not only 'flock together', but sink together.
