OCAP Opens New Office in Etobicoke, Ontario

OCAP Women of Etobicoke Wish List

OCAP Women of Etobicoke OPENS!
Office donations needed!

Friday April 28-
A new OCAP office was opened at 2428 Islington Ave,in Etobicoke. The OCAP Women of Etobicoke office is run by organizers from North Etobicoke whom OCAP came to know through this past year’s Special Diet Campaign.

Their mission statement reads:

OCAP WOMEN OF ETOBICOKE brings the poor, unemployed, and youth together.

We defend each other against Landlords, Bosses and Government who are attacking poor people who do not know their rights.

When they attack, criminalize or steal from us we draw the line with disruption and public pressure.

We fight with dignity and strength in order to win, not just to register our feelings.

We do not get any money or support from the government. We do this by ourselves as volunteers to help the community with any problems we have.

We can help with Social Services, Landlords, Police, Schools, Metro Housing and Security Guards.

As this new office gets underway, OCAP Women of Etobicoke are asking for donations to help with their day to day work. Please donate whatever you have in the way of:
