The Civilians in Patriot Acts: An American Vaudeville

Behind many classic American songs lies the forgotten history of a different kind of patriotism. From Guthrie to Springsteen and beyond, songwriters have long celebrated our country while also challenging it to live up to its ideals. With PATRIOT ACTS, The Civilians and their guests will tap into this great tradition and rekindle the spark of another America in this one-night-only theatrical event of words and songs. Featuring The Nation's Victor Navasky, Air America's Sam Seder, Saturday Night Live's Fred Armisen, This American Life's David Rakoff, and many others.
