The American people have been sold the notion that Israel's bombardment of Lebanon was justified by an unprovoked "kidnapping" of two Israeli soldiers on July 12. The reality now appears to be quite different: that U.S. President George W. Another idiotic war, complements of BushCo. 1000 or so dead bodies later, and what's been accomplished: zilch. (Oh yeah, Muslims hate us even more, there's that.)
We can only hope that November brings a Democratic majority to the US congress -- then maybe these bastards will be investigated, impeached and maybe even charged with war crimes. See you at the Hague, Georgie.
