Where are we to go from here?

On Thursday, July 27, the McMaster Muslims for Peace and Justice, November 16 Coalition, and others present a panel of speakers on why Canada has to abandon Stephen Harper's one-sided stance on the bombing of Lebanon and invasion of Gaza. Instead, we should advocate Israeli withdrawal from the territories it has entered.

Speakers joining the discussion are

·Zafar Bangash, of the Institute for Contemporary Islamic Thought, a distinguished scholar of Islamic theology and an activist for Muslim and Arab rights in Canada and the world

·Samer Nassif, Lebanese-Canadian McMaster-educated engineer living in Hamilton

·Peter Leibovitch, Jewish Steelworker and member of Trade Unionists against the War,

and more. The meeting takes place:

7:00 pm
