Sudan: Protect the people of Darfur

War remains a daily reality for the people of Darfur Sudan. Despite ongoing peace talks and ceasefires, the conflict which escalated three years ago shows no signs of letting up.

Two hundred thousand people are dead. Over two million people have either fled their homes or been displaced by the conflict. Thousands of women and girls have been systematically raped. Villages throughout the region have been burned to the ground.

The people of Darfur have lived in fear for too long.

Take action now

Send an email message to your member of parliament, urging the Canadian government to make the crisis in Darfur a top priority.

Visit the irrepressible.info website

Sign Amnesty's pledge on internet freedom

Undermine censorship by publishing irrepressible fragments of censored material on your own site.
