"Quagmire" according to the Oxford dictionary is
"a soft boggy area of land that gives way underfoot" or "an awkward, complex, or hazardous situation." The US-led war on Iraq is increasingly compared to the "quagmire" of the Vietnam war. That war ended in a resounding defeat for US imperialism. What are the prospects for the US in the war on Iraq today? Hear ZAFAR BANGASH and JAMES CLARK analyze the war on Iraq, the nature of the resistance, and the prospects for building a global anti-war movement that can halt the destruction and barbarism.
