Protest Stephen Harper this Friday April 21 in Toronto

PROTEST STEPHEN HARPER
We want childcare, not warfare!

Rally and picket
Friday, April 21
12:00pm
Fairmont Royal York Hotel

Corner of Front Street and York Street
(picket will take place on west side of York Street;
nearest subway: Union station)

Prime Minister Stephen Harper will be in Toronto on Friday, April 21 to speak at an exclusive luncheon hosted by the Empire Club. In his few short months as prime minister, Harper has resisted any debate about Canada's role in Afghanistan (he didn't even attend Monday's debate in Parliament) and has declared that Canadian troops could be in Afghanistan for years. The Toronto Coalition to Stop the War is calling a rally and picket outside Harper's luncheon next Friday to let him know that we want the troops brought home now and money for childcare not warfare.

All welcome. Join us!
