Amnesty International: Support of Six Nations
This letter is from Amnesty International regarding the plight of the Six Nations People.We're following the situation closely - we've had a lot of conversations over the last few weeks with members of the community at Six Nations and with other friends and colleagues with close family and close ties to the community.
Amnesty does not have a capacity to do direct monitoring, mediation or other forms of crisis response the way some other organizations do. However we are definitely concerned that there be a peaceful resolution that fully upholds the rigths of the people of Six Nations and are in discussion with others about how we can best support that end.
