The Halton Environmental Network
Readers who live in the Halton Region of Ontario (Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton) or nearby, should drop in to see the friendly people at the Halton Environmental Network [HEN] located in downtown Oakville, and if you are truly concerned about environmental issues, please sign up!Sustaining the Environment Through Group Anticipation.
Perhaps you are a member of a:
- faith or multicultural organization
- residents' association
- student eco-club
- trade union
- sports and recreation organization
- environmental or community group
Your group should join the HEN!
Educators and artists are welcome, too!
HEN belives that protection of the natural environment is everyone's responsibility.
If you are concerned about the local environment, consider becoming your organization's representative to the HEN. You would receive our e-mails, mailings, faxes or phone calls about upcoming HEN conferences, workshops and educational forums for you to attend. You would report back to your organization and encourage your membership to get involved in local environmental activities and events. Our community will benefit enormously when more people are taking care for the natural environment and their health.
