WHAT'S NEW ON CORPWATCH
Holding Corporations Accountable
We are very excited to announce that CorpWatch is now producing a weekly radio show/podcast which will be available on our website. Each show will feature a review of the week in corporate news, and an interview with our featured writer.
This week, we interview CorpWatch's military researcher, David Phinney, about his most recent story about the construction of a new U.S. embassy in Baghdad. In the interview, David describes the issues surrounding military subcontracting in Iraq, focussing on labor issues involving third country nationals and human trafficking.
The headlines cover a diverse range of issues, from Enron to gold mining in Asia, biotech in Europe to oil conflicts in Nigeria.
Since this show is still in its inchoate form, we especially welcome feedback.
