Consensus Eludes Iraq's Shia Parties

Failing to overcome differences, Iraqi Shia politicians have postponed a decision on a new prime minister, a key step in forming the new government nearly two months after national elections. The 128 members of the Shia alliance who won parliament seats in the December 15 balloting, gathered on Saturday in Baghdad to choose their candidate for prime minister.
