Naturally the pro-Bush, wealthy Republican Congressman from Texas doesn't want Venezuela's Citgo to take a bite out of Big Oil's American profits, even though Citgo's gesture would help poor Americans. Republican Congressmember Joe Barton of Texas has launched an investigation into one of the world's major oil companies - Citgo. The Venezuelan-owned company announced a discounted gas program for poor Americans last year.
We'll speak with Democratic New York Congressman Jose Serrano, one of the few members of Congress promoting this effort.
