Latest Highlights from Independent World Television's Media Movement

** Independent World Television (IWT) was conceived by distinguished documentary film-maker Paul Jay. It is wholly member supported, without corporate, government or advertiser funding, dedicated to providing unbiased, unfiltered, unabridged news and commentary from around the globe. As we all know, there is a dearth in our corporate-owned mainstream media. Important, pertinent news is under-reported (if it is reported at all!), while the vacuous is sensationalized. We hear far more about missing teens in Aruba and celebrity gossip than about the Iraqi civilian death toll. Hence I whole-heartedly support Paul Jay in this ambitious endeavour and strongly urge my readers to do likewise. Regardless of where you stand on the political spectrum, it is in the best interests of everyone to be well-informed. Check out the links below, and sign up to become a contributing member. Stay tuned here for regular updates!

I have also included here the letter I received from Paul Jay just before Labour Day. --- Annamarie

"...Building the world's first global non-profit, independent news network. Online and on TV, IWT News will deliver independent news and real debate -- without funding from governments, corporations, or advertising..." Paul Jay
